Rolf Schnyder, the man behind Ulysse Nardin’s revival, turned 75 this year. So the brand did what watch brands do best. It made a watch. The Freak Diavolo “Rolf 75” is limited to 75 pieces, one for each year. The case is platinum and carries Schnyder’s “Rolf 75” signature. Neat touch.
Schnyder picked the Freak himself for the tribute, and his reasoning makes sense:
“In celebration of my 75th birthday, I’ve chosen the Freak, as it signifies a historic milestone for Ulysse Nardin and the entire watchmaking industry. It stands as our most significant creation, embodying innovation and excellence.”
