According to Fiat, the new model builds upon the excitement generated by the 2012 Fiat 500 (Cinquecento), catering specifically to track-day enthusiasts and driving purists seeking the ultimate high-performance small car with the exclusive pedigree of an Italian exotic. The North American version of the Abarth is anticipated to mirror its European counterpart, featuring a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine producing 140 PS (138 bhp / 103 kW), complemented by Abarth-tuned suspension and brake systems.
