Meet the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe—the first four-door coupe in BMW’s history. The Bavarian manufacturer offers the Gran Coupe as three separate models: the 640i, powered by BMW’s N55 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine that pumps out 315 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque; and the 650i, available with rear-wheel drive or xDrive all-wheel drive, powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 making 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque, paired with BMW’s ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission. The 6 Series Gran Coupe will make its debut in January at the Detroit Auto Show or in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
