Okay, this campaign is good. Bianca Balti is fronting Dolce & Gabbana Jewelry for Fall/Winter 2011-2012 and Giampaolo Sgura shot the whole thing. And honestly? He captured her perfectly. None of that stiff posing you see everywhere. Just Bianca being Bianca, and the jewelry does the rest.
Look at the setup too. Black lace curtains, white rooms, that is it. Simple but it works. She is wearing handcrafted pieces, rosary beads, crosses, ceramic medallions, all set in tri-color gold with rubies, sapphires and pearls. Very D&G. Very over the top in the best way.
What gets me is her face. Cool expression, zero smile, but those eyes are intense. That is the whole campaign right there, tradition and passion in one look. Anyway, worth a scroll through the gallery if you have a minute.
