
This rare 1970s fisheye lens is believed to be the most extreme wide-angle optic ever produced. Officially named the Fisheye-Nikkor 6mm f/2.8, it debuted at the 1970 Photokina trade show in Cologne, Germany. Weighing 5.2 kg, measuring 171 mm long with a 236 mm diameter, and boasting a 220° field of view that lets it see behind itself, it’s priced at £100,000 ($160,000) and available from Grays of Westminster in London.
