Mercedes-Benz rolled into the show at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, its all-new customized Viano VISION DIAMOND. Intended to be chauffeur-driven vehicle, this luxury van sports a sophisticated exterior with its black radiator grille, chromed grille louvers, and two-tone exterior paint job with gold accents. The interior totally spells out luxury. The van is set up like a limousine, with rear accommodations for passengers with heating, cooling, massage, 40-inch flat screen and Bang & Olufsen sound system, all operated by either Apple iPad 2 or iPhone 4. There are Champagne glass holders throughout the passenger compartment, as well as an automatic champagne cooler. Even more impressive, the vehicle comes equipped with a W-LAN system that enables Web videoconferencing, among other things. Finally, eight diamonds embedded in the interior trim refer to the lucky Chinese number eight and underscore the vehicle’s luxurious atmosphere.
