This lime-green 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO has become the world’s most expensive car, selling for a staggering $35 million, according to Bloomberg. It surpassed the previous record set by a 1936 Type 57SC Bugatti Atlantic in 2010. With only 39 ever produced, this stunning example was custom-built for legendary British racer Stirling Moss. The new owner is collector Craig McCaw, former head of McCaw Cellular (sold to AT&T). You have to love classic Ferraris to drop $35 million.
