Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini has recently introduced their new range of luxury mobile devices for the Russian market. The company unveiled three handsets and one tablet; surprisingly, the tablet and one of the handsets run Android.
The first luxury phone is called TL688 Spyder it has a hand-made leather body and a gold treatment, a 2-inch QVGA display, 3 megapixel camera with video recording, front facing camera, 4GB internal memory and GPRS/EDGE connectivity and is priced at 60,000 – 70,000 RUB ( approximately $1,829 – $2,134).
The second luxury phone is called TL820 Spyder 2 it has the same gold and leather treatment, a 2.4-inch VGA resolution display, 5 megapixel rear camera and VGA front facing camera, 1GB internal memory (expandable up to 16GB) a 1,200mAh battery and is priced at 80,000 RUB (approximately $2,438)
The third luxury phone is the TL700 features gold plated body, sapphire glass coating and crocodile skin back; It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 3.7 inch display, Qualcomm processor , 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB of internal memory, a 1,400 mAh battery and is priced at 90,000 RUB (approximately $2743)
The last device, the Lamborghini tablet L2800 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with a 9.7 inch, 1024×768 pixels sapphire crystal display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and is priced at 75,000 RUB (approximately $2,286).
All four luxury mobile devices should become available in Russia starting August and for the moment there’s no word if any of them will make it to other markets or not.
