Good news from Paris: In an effort to expand the brand’s image into the luxury jewelry market, France-based luxury goods company LVMH opened a Louis Vuitton jewellery store at the iconic number 23 in Place Vendôme, Paris.
“The store and the workshop are an important step, a foundational decision, indicating that we look ahead with optimism,” said Hamdi Chatti, director of jewellery and watches for Louis Vuitton.
The new Paris store has something for everyone, as prices on mid-range item start at 650 euros ($820), to diamond and sapphire-encrusted necklaces and rings that can sell for millions.
“We are considering opening new stores for jewellery and watchmaking in major international capitals,” a Louis Vuitton spokeswoman told Reuters.
