Swiss brand Hublot teamed up with Arturo Fuente Cigar Company, the maker of the famous Opus X cigars to unveil a unique piece of timekeeping, the King Power “Arturo Fuente”. Marking the 100 year anniversary, the new King Power Arturo Fuente comes with the back cover decorated with images of Carlos Fuente Jr. and Senior, the logo of Opus X, as well as engraving dates 1912-2012. The watch is delivered in a genuine cigar case developed specially by Hublot, a blend between Macassar ebony and carbon. The case measures 48mm in either 18kt King Gold or microblasted ceramic, the bezel is either gold or black ceramic with 6 H-shaped relief black PVD titanium screws. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire, the bezel lugs are black composite resing, as are the lateral inserts and the crown is either gold or ceramic. The chronograph pushers are also either gold or ceramic with black rubber inserts and the caseback is either gold or ceramic, with an exclusive Arturo Fuente illustration transfer celebrating the 100th anniversary. It is water resistant to 100 meters.
The dial is matt brown, with 18kt King Gold platted indeces with black SuperLuminova, Fuentes cigar logo transfer at 6 o’clock and the hands are satin-finished 18kt rose gold with black SuperLuminova. Movement is the Swiss automatic Hublot caliber HUB4100 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
The strap is adjustable black rubber and brown Hornback alligator with white stitching, with either gold or ceramic deployant buckles.
