German automobile manufacturer BMW has launched its own electric bike, the Cruise e-bike. Sporting a 250-watt Bosch electric motor, the bike can power you all the way up to 25km/h with a range of 85km. The bike has disc brakes and four modes of assistance, ranging from Eco Tour, Sport or Speed/Turbo, that the rider can choose. It weighs in at just 24kg. BMW haven’t yet given a release date or price for the Cruise e-bike. We’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned.
