Casio introduced its first true luxury timepiece collection: the MT-G Metal Twisted G-Shock. This steel series of G-Shock models is crafted at Casio’s Yamagata factory in Japan.
“It is with great pleasure that we release the new MT-G Metal Twisted G-SHOCK collection,” says Shigenori Itoh, Chairman and CEO of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “Remaining true to G-SHOCK’s heritage of innovation in Shock resistant watch performance, we have created a set of premium timepieces that will last not just a lifetime, but through generations.”
Inspired by the adventurous man, the Metal Twisted G-SHOCK collection consists of three premium chronograph models: the Casio G-Shock MTGS1000D-1A in polished stainless steel and resin, which will retail for $900; the Casio G-Shock MTGS1000BD-1A, which will retail for $1,000 and is finished in refined black ion-plated stainless steel and resin; and, in celebration of G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary, the black ion-plated Casio G-Shock MTGS1030BD-1A — a limited edition featuring gold highlights and a unique red-paneled bracelet band — retailing for $1,100. Available in November exclusively at Tourneau, Tourneau.com and the Casio G-Shock NYC Soho until after Thanksgiving, then through select premium retailers and www.gshock.com.
