After the hardtop Veneno shocked Geneva, Lamborghini has done it again. The first images of the Veneno Roadster have surfaced online ahead of its official reveal, and it looks every bit as wild as you’d hope. This one marks the brand’s 50th anniversary. The roof? Gone completely. You get a pure open-air experience, wind in your hair and 740 hp under your right foot. That power comes from the familiar 6.5-litre V12, and it launches the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Top speed sits at 354 km/h, or 220 mph if you prefer your numbers in miles.
Here’s the part that stings. Lamborghini is building nine of them. Nine. Each one costs 3.3 million euros, roughly $4.5 million, and they’re already spoken for. Good luck with that.
