New York designer Alexander Wang has partnered with Beats by Dre to create a limited-edition collection of headphones and speakers. The collection includes the signature Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pills portable wireless speaker and the Urbeats earbuds, all featuring Wang’s signature in a matte black finish with pale gold accents.
Wang told WWD : “I have always looked to music and musicians for inspiration and as collaborators because there is such a purity to their talent. Different types of music can also transform how you interpret or understand a fashion show, or film. It’s creating a story and translating a message.”
The headphones will retail for $449, the speaker for $229, and the earbuds will be priced at $149, and will be available December 16 at BeatsbyDre.com and AlexanderWang.com.
