Morgan Motor Company is celebrating the centenary of its factory with the new Plus 8 Speedster. This limited-run model stays true to Morgan’s roots, but under the hood features a modern 367-hp BMW 4.8-liter V8 engine, routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or ZF six-speed automatic. According to the automaker, the Plus 8 will see 60 mph in 4.2 seconds on its way to 148mph. The Morgan Plus 8 Speedster is expected to hit production in this coming June and will be priced from £69,995 including VAT ( about $117,000). Watch the video below.
