The Morgan Motor Company is celebrating the centenary of its factory with the new Plus 8 Speedster. This limited-run model stays true to Morgan’s roots but features a modern 367-hp BMW 4.8-liter V8 engine under the hood, routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or ZF six-speed automatic. According to the automaker, the Plus 8 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 148 mph. The Morgan Plus 8 Speedster is expected to enter production this coming June and will be priced from £69,995 (including VAT), approximately $117,000. Watch the video below.
