Meet the retromodern Renovo Coupe. Billed as the first “all-electric American supercar,” the Renovo Coupe was officially introduced to the world at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Renovo Coupe is modeled after the 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe and packs a 500 horsepower engine with an astounding 1,000 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to go from zero to 60 in under 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of over 120 miles per hour.
“Renovo Motors sought to create an aspirational vehicle that demonstrates the performance, control, and excitement that is possible with EV technology,” said Renovo’s CEO Christopher Heiser. “We have poured our passion and innovation into the Coupe in an effort to deliver a truly amazing driving experience, and we’re honored to present the Production Prototype of our car at the Concours d’Elegance.”
Renovo is promising the first Coupe deliveries in 2015, at just over $500k.
Absolutely stunning, beautiful work.
