Luxury outerwear brand Moncler has partnered with Leica on a special edition of the Leica X 113 compact camera. The silver-finished body features a leather trim in blue white and red created by Moncler designers as a nod to the brand’s French heritage.
Under the hood the technical specs match the standard Leica X 113. It uses a professional APS-C-format CMOS sensor with 16.5 megapixels (effective 16.2 megapixels) and a fast Leica Summilux 23 mm f/1.7 ASPH lens for sharp low-light performance and a classic 35 mm field of view.
Priced at $2,950 the Leica X Edition Moncler is a true limited edition. Only 1,500 units will be produced and each camera carries a unique serial number. The set includes a padded white pouch that echoes Moncler’s down jackets plus a white leather strap with a Leica and Moncler inscription.
