A New Milestone in the History of the Black Watch – Porsche Design is writing a new chapter in the history of watchmaking, the luxury brand unveiled a new line of independently manufactured timepieces. Inspired by the legendary Chronograph I from 1972, Porsche Design has released two new timepieces, the Porsche Design Timepiece No. 1 and Porsche Design Chronograph Titanium Limited Edition, essentially the same watch with different case finishes. The first one the Porsche Design Timepiece No. 1 – REF. 6011.13.406.814 feature a bead-blasted titanium with black coating case measuring 42mm x 14.62mm; It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a black-tinted sapphire crystal opening, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
The second one Porsche Design Chronograph Titanium L.E. – REF. 6011.10.406.113 feature a in bead-blasted titanium case measuring 42mm x 14.62mm; It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a black-tinted sapphire crystal opening, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Inside the watches is a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.
Each models will be limited to a run of 500 pieces, Porsche Design Chronograph Titanium Limited Edition is priced at $6,850 while Porsche Design Timepiece No. 1 is priced at $7,550.
