Vertu has revealed Vertu for Bentley, a luxury Android smartphone created in collaboration with British automaker Bentley. The Vertu for Bentley has a knurled Grade 5 titanium casing and comes wrapped in diamond-stitched quilted calf leather in Bentley’s classic Newmarket Tan color shade.
Underneath all this appears to be a standard Signature Touch. It uses a Qualcomm 801 2.3GHz Quad-Core Processor a 4.7-inch 1080p display covered by sapphire crystal 13MP camera 64GBs of storage Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers a 2275mAh battery full connectivity suite including LTE and Qi wireless charging. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat with exclusive Vertu Concierge Vertu Life and Vertu Certainty apps plus Bentley-themed wallpapers and a Bentley clock.
Priced from €12,500 (about $16,500 to $18,000 depending on region) the Vertu for Bentley phone is a true limited edition. Only 2,000 will be produced and each handset carries the engraved signature of the craftsman who hand built it at Vertu’s factory in Church Crookham Hampshire. So any takers?
