SIHH 2015 preview… Inspired by the instrument panel of Ralph Lauren’s legendary 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe, the American fashion designer introduces the Ralph Lauren Automotive Chronograph. The watch features a 44.8mm round brushed stainless steel case with fixed bezel and six exposed screws; It has a convex AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 50 meters. The dial is matte black, with an elm burl disc separating the centered hours and the outer tachymeter scale. The watch is powered by the new Swiss automatic movement Ralph Lauren, caliber RL751A/1 with 39 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 65 hours; an automatic movement that’s exclusively made for Ralph Lauren by Jaeger-LeCoultre The novelty is supplied on a black alligator strap with black Alsavel lining and a stainless steel pin buckle.
