Bang & Olufsen used CES 2015 to launch its first wireless on-ear headphones, the BeoPlay H8. Danish designer Jakob Wagner led the project. He chose premium touches like anodised aluminium, cowhide leather and soft lambskin to give the H8 a high-end feel
“With BeoPlay H8 we have made something complex simple and easy to use,” says Jakob Wagner and continues “it has been a focus of ours to use the right materials in an intelligent way, so you can concentrate on the listening experience while enjoying intuitive usability.”
The headphone works on Bluetooth 4.0 technology using the aptX codec and features a touch interface that lets you adjust playback, change tracks, volume control, answering calls, and turn on Active Noise Cancellation with simple intuitive gestures. Available in two colours: Gray Hazel and Argilla Bright , the BeoPlay H8 wireless on-ear headphones will be available at Bang & Olufsen online store and select retail locations later this month for $499 USD.
