Lotus has pulled the covers off a heavily updated Evora and the numbers are serious. The Evora 400 makes 400hp and Lotus says it is the fastest production car the brand has ever built.
The front and rear ends have been redesigned to look meaner and give the car a real aerodynamic edge. Under the body sits a completely re-engineered supercharged and charge-cooled mid-mounted 3.5-litre V6 pushing 400 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque through a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Evora 400 is set to make its official debut at the Geneva motor show and should be on sale from August.
The big question is the price. Lotus has not announced anything yet so we will have to wait.
