Audi introduced at the 85th Geneva Motor Show the first racing bike made of carbon. Limited edition of only 50 pieces the bike comes with the Audi Sport look and a total weight of only 5.8 kg (13.0 lb). Developed in cooperation with the CarbonSports company, the 790 gram (27.9 oz) lightweight frame and the wheels are made of carbon – specifically T1000 carbon fiber, the same material used in the cockpit of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro; while the saddle is covered in Fine Nappa leather, a detail from the new Audi R8. The new Audi Sport Racing Bike could be yours for just €17,500 (Approx. $18,370 USD) based on current exchange rates, and can be ordered now, either from quattro GmbH or from any Audi partner worldwide.
