Pre-Basel 2015 – Swiss manufacturer Breitling reinterprets this original look of the Colt collection with a modern, technical and efficient styling in a new chronograph. Introduced in the 1980s, the Colt was first initially intended for the armed forces; the timepiece comes with a 44mm stainless steel case, it has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 200 meters. Equipped with an officially chronometer-certified mechanical movement, the timepiece is powered by the Swiss automatic Breitling caliber 13 with 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 42 hours. Dials come in volcano black, mariner blue, or stratus silver, with luminescent hands and indices. The novelty is completed by a variety of leather straps with deployant or buckle, rubber Ocean Racer, rubber Diver or on a steel Professional bracelet. No word on price. TBA
