Louis Vuitton is introducing a new collection of three Louis Vuitton Tambour éVolution timepieces in black at Baselworld 2015. Over a decade has gone by since Louis Vuitton introduced the Tambour collection, and now the Tambour éVolution is the main face of Louis Vuitton’s men’s watches. The first timepiece Tambour éVolution GMT comes with a 43mm case and uses an automatic caliber LV71 (not in-house made) operating at 4Hz with 42 hours of power reserve. The second timepiece, Tambour éVolution Chronograph GMT is 45mm wide and comes powered by the LV92 automatic caliber (non-in-house made). Lastly, the Tambour éVolution Spin Time GMT also comes with a 45mm case and uses an in-house made calibre LV111 automatic movement, (they are all water resistant to 100 meters). The Louis Vuitton Tambour éVolution GMT in Black will be priced at $6,500 and the Tambour éVolution Chronograph GMT in Black will be priced at $8,100; and lastly the most expensive model, the Tambour éVolution Spin Time GMT in Black comes with a “price upon request” tag.
