A beautiful 1968 De Tomaso Mangusta by Ghia will be offered at RM Auctions sale at Villa Erba, Italy, on May 23rd, 2015. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and built by fabled Turin coachbuilder Ghia, the car offered here has been beautifully and authentically restored. Bearing chassis no. 8MA608 the Mangusta ’s technical specifications remain impressive even today, the cars is powered by a 271 bhp, 289 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine, five-speed ZF manual transmission, unequal length wishbone front suspension with coil springs and an anti-roll bar, wide-base unequal length wishbone rear suspension with trailing arms, coil springs, and an anti-roll bar, and four-wheel power-assisted Girling disc brakes.
