Swiss luxury watchmaker Baume & Mercier celebrates the 50th anniversary of the great Cobra win with two new chronograph timepieces. Inspired by the vintage 1948 mono-push-piece chronograph the watch is available in two version steel and red gold – all designed to celebrate Carroll Shelby’s achievements.

The first timepiece Capeland Shelby Cobra Steel Chronograph features a 44mm x 14.9mm case, and is powered by a Swiss automatic La Joux-Perret caliber 8120 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Limited Edition of 1,965 Pieces – This version retails for $4,450.
The second timpiece Capeland Shelby Cobra 18k Red Gold Flyback Chronograph is housed in a 44mm x 16.5mm case, and is powered by a Swiss automatic La Joux-Perret caliber 8147-2 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 44 hours. Limited Edition of 98 Pieces – This version retails for $19,950. Both have an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and the caseback is engraved with Carroll Shelby’s signature. They will be available June 2015.
