Choupette Lagerfeld Earned 3 Million Euros in 2014

Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld’s famously pampered cat, reportedly earned 3 million euros in 2014 from modeling work. The fluffy white feline was paid more than some top human models and lived accordingly, with two maids of her own and even an Instagram account. Lagerfeld said Choupette did two jobs that year — one for cars in Germany and another for a Japanese beauty brand.

“She did two jobs and made 3 million euros last year.” Lagerfeld said in an interview with New York magazine. “One was for cars in Germany and the other was for a Japanese beauty product. I don’t allow her to do foodstuffs and things like this. She’s too sophisticated for that.“

What do you think of Choupette’s very spoiled lifestyle?

*Updated note: After Lagerfeld’s death, reports suggested Choupette could inherit part of his fortune, further strengthening her reputation as one of the world’s wealthiest cats
