Disney Springs, formerly known as Downtown Disney, will offer waterfront dining with a nautical theme at the new The Boathouse restaurant.
“Combining dining with interactive entertainment, The Boathouse helps bring to life our vision of Disney Springs as a welcoming place for guests of all ages to enjoy with their friends and family amid the charm of a waterfront town center,” said George A. Kalogridis, president, Walt Disney World Resort.
The menu will include steaks, chops, and seafood, and the restaurant is scheduled to serve Disney guests until 2:00 AM. You can see other alleged menu items at the Disney Food Blog. The Boathouse is slated to open April 13.

Disney’s culinary ambitions aren’t limited to Florida, either — across the Atlantic, the company is preparing a Ratatouille-themed restaurant at Disneyland Paris, bringing the same spirit of immersive, story-driven dining to its European resort.
