In a historic first, Tudor has joined the Only Watch charity event, unveiling the unique Tudor Heritage Black Bay One (reference 7923/001). This special edition is a tribute to the legendary 1954 Tudor Submariner, specifically the reference 7923.
The timepiece features a 41mm stainless steel case with a sophisticated mix of polished and satin finishes, topped with a classic domed sapphire crystal. Driving the watch is the reliable Tudor calibre 2824 self-winding mechanical movement, providing a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
Tudor has ensured the watch is versatile for any occasion. It comes equipped with a steel bracelet featuring tube-type attachments and a secure folding clasp. To offer further variety, the watch also includes two additional straps: one in a rich, dark brown aged leather and another in a contemporary grey fabric.

The Chronoswiss Ouroboros will be auctioned in Geneva on November 7, 2015. The event will be managed by the new watch department at Phillips, operated by the experts Bacs & Russo, with all proceeds going toward the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The Black Bay collection continued to expand beyond this one-off charity piece — the following year, Tudor introduced the Black Bay Dark, a striking all-black interpretation that brought the collection’s design language to a wider audience.
