BMW is celebrating its 100th anniversary and, to mark the occasion, has just rolled out the Vision Next 100, a concept car that hints at what the company could possibly offer in the years to come. The car uses what is called Alive Geometry, or intuitive driver-vehicle interaction. On the interior, it serves as an analogue display system on the dashboard, alerting the driver to incidents and objects ahead. On the outside, Alive Geometry is visible in the form of movable wheelhouse covers for optimal aerodynamics.
“Our goal was to create a very personal vehicle. There will always be that highly emotional connection between a BMW and its driver.” — Karim Habib, Head of BMW Automobile Design
The concept shows where the company is headed. Please share your thoughts below.
