Say hello to the new Bugatti Chiron, the world’s fastest, most powerful production car yet. The Bugatti Chiron is a true engineering marvel, powered by an extensively redeveloped version of the Veyron’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine. It produces 1,503 kW (1,500 bhp), unprecedented for production vehicles, with an exceptionally high torque value of 1,600 Nm between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm. The car features a wide variety of technical innovations and will accelerate from 0–62 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, 0–124 mph in less than 6.5 seconds, and 0–186 mph in under 13.6 seconds. The top speed has been limited to 261 mph. Bugatti will build 500 Chirons at its factory in Molsheim, France, with a base price of €2.4 million (approximately $2.6 million).
