TAG Heuer paid homage to Muhammad Ali with a special event, comemorating his legacy and the introduction of TAG Heuer Carrera Muhammad Ali Special Edition.
The unique piece in gold was auctioned for 88.000 USD with all proceeds going to The Muhammad Ali Center.
The timepiece is inspired by the famous Ring-Master stopwatch introduced in 1957 and now on display in the TAG Heuer museum.
The Swiss watchmaker also unveiled a collection of special edition steel timepieces; The caseback of the 43mm timepiece reveals an engraved portrait of Ali with the inscription, “Tribute to Muhammad Ali.” Completing the ensemble is a perforated black leather with red stitching. The TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber 5 Ring Master Muhammad Ali watch is priced at $3,000.
