Pablo Escobar’s Tulum Mansion Is Now a Five-Star Resort

Pablo Escobar Tulum Mansion
Attention Narcos fans! Pablo Escobar’s former mansion in Tulum has been turned into a boutique hotel by Lio Malca, a prominent art dealer from New York. Located in the Mexican beach resort of Tulum, Casa Malca boast 35 rooms, and comes populated with a variety of artworks from Malca’s private collection, including pieces from KAWS, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

“I saw many different properties but I kept asking about this one,” Malca told Cool Hunting. “I purchased the property because I thought it was insane. I could not believe that in this world, a property like this still exists and hasn’t been taken over by a corporation.”
Surrounded by lush jungle vegetation, the Tulum mansion has two restaurants, an outdoor and indoor pool, a large rooftop bar with 360 views of Tulum.
The art pieces across the hotel is frequently rotated, so returning guests can be surprised and intrigued each time.

Rooms can be booked online, with rates starting at $490 a night, and judging by the photos, it looks to be worth every penny.
