Dark Night Rises – British automaker unveiled the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge Edition, to appeal to a “younger, more dynamic patron of luxury” than its typical customer. At the exterior the Dawn Black Badge is painted in a “deeply intense” shade of black, black canvas roof, black leather rear deck, black chrome highlights, even the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot on the hood is finished in high-gloss black chrome.
“Black Badge has already distinctly amplified the characters of Ghost and Wraith motor cars, placing them into consciousness of those that seek a commanding presence in the objects they commission. Overwhelming demand from new patrons of luxury tells us the time is now right to apply this assertive, confident and powerful attitude to Dawn and open this truly transformative presence to the world.”
Under the hood, the Black Badge Dawn will get more power, featuring the revamped version of 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, which produces 593bhp, a 30bhp increase over the standard Dawn.
No word on price, but don’t expect this line to be cheap. We’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned.
