Inspired by the Lexus Sport Yacht Concept, Lexus has now officially unveiled plans for its first-ever luxury yacht, the Lexus LY 650. Measuring 65 feet in length with a 19-foot beam, the LY 650 boasts the Japanese company‘s distinctive “L-finesse” design scheme.
Lexus’ Executive Vice President, Shigeki Tomoyama commissioned the Marquis-Larson Boat Group to “present a dream-like vision of the luxury lifestyle; one where the Lexus Yacht expands the potential of Lexus mobility to the ocean.”
It’s powered by the choice of a Volvo IPS 1200 or Volvo IPS 1350 marine engine, and can hold 1,000 gallons of fuel.
The first completed Lexus LY 650 is expected to be finished in the second half of 2019. A price has not yet been released for now, but we’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned.
