The 111-metre Oceanco yacht DreAMBoat, previously referred to as Project Y726, has started trials in the North Sea near the Netherlands as she prepares for handover later this year. Commissioned in 2022 by Home Depot billionaire and repeat client Arthur Blank, Y726 measures 111 metres overall with a 16‑metre beam and 4,550 GT, ranking it among Oceanco’s largest-volume projects.

DreAMBoat: Design & Specifications

Espen Øino International penned the striking exterior, Mark Berryman Design created a warm, refined interior, and naval architecture was developed by Lateral with Oceanco’s in-house team and the owner’s long-time yachting representative, Dan Jackson, reported Boat International. The motor yacht’s maximum speed is 18 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots.

Luxurious Amenities & Guest Experience

With a volume of 4,550 GT, DreAMBoat accommodates up to 28 guests and 34 crew, delivering top-tier comfort and service. Highlights include a winter garden, covered cocktail area, outdoor cinema and sundeck lounge. The private owner’s deck has a Jacuzzi, and the main-deck aft offers a flexible entertainment area with a swimming pool and a second Jacuzzi.

Onboard facilities include a cinema lounge, full gym and a spa with sauna and steam room. The beach club’s bar connects directly to the swim platform, creating a casual gathering spot at the water’s edge.

Collaboration & Vision: Building DreAMBoat

“Led by the owner’s vision, Y726 exemplifies what’s possible when all of the hundreds of participants are aligned in the determined execution of that vision. As we enter the final stages, we’re proud to play a part in delivering a truly special yacht to her owner,” says A.J. Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Wright Maritime Group.

“This project is the result of bold design ambition and robust engineering. Through close collaboration with Oceanco and the projects design partners, Y726 stands as a testament not only to engineering enabling design at the highest level, but also to the power of collaboration as a catalyst for excellence,” Lateral’s Programme Director, Lee Archer said.

Arthur Blank — Home Depot billionaire and superyacht enthusiast

Arthur Blank, co-founder of The Home Depot, lives up to the name of his superyacht DreAMBoat, which reflects his initials (AMB) and ambitions. After losing a hardware store job early on, he built The Home Depot into a retail giant, amassing vast wealth. Blank’s assets include luxury yachts, several homes, and sports franchises such as the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons ($545 million purchase) and MLS’s Atlanta United FC. At 83 and worth about $11 billion, he plans to donate over half his fortune through the Giving Pledge.
