Leica M10-P ‘ASC 100 Edition’ Celebrates The World of Cinema

Leica M10-P ASC 100 Leica introduced a limited edition model of its M10-P digital camera to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Society of Cinematographers.

The set comprises a Leica M10-P camera and a Leica Summicron-M 35 f/2 ASPH. lens and comes preloaded with two modes specifically for cinematographers: ASC Cine Classic Look for a classic, analog 35mm motion, and the ASC Cine Contemporary mode creates a contemporary digital movie look – both developed by Leica in collaboration with some of the world’s most influential cinematographers.

The limited edition camera features a unique design, all-black with gold-colored anodized lens inspired by the ‘Ur-Leica’ brass look, and ASC logo on the top plate of the camera.

“The combination of the included electronic viewfinder, M-PL-Mount Adapter, Cine Look pre-sets and aspect ratio options enables the use of the camera as a director’s viewfinder, making it an extraordinarily versatile and useful tool for filmmakers,” Leica says.

Priced at $17,500 the Leica M10-P ASC 100 Edition will be limited to 300 sets worldwide.
