Swiss watchmaker that recently renamed itself RJ introduced in collaboration with Marvel Studios a new timepiece inspired by the amazing Spider-Man, the new ARRAW Spider-Man Tourbillon. Based on the Arraw (Arraw is the brand’s new signature model) the new timepiece comes housed in a 45mm case made from a composite material – made of black carbon and red fiberglass adorned with the “signature” rubber bumpers on the rounded case edge.
Inside is the RJ-7000 caliber, RJ’s first tourbillon movement entirely made in-house, beating at 21’600 alternances/hour (3 Hz) with 29 jewels and 150 hours (6 days) of power reserve.
The caseback feature a special cartridge engraving and four sapphire crystals for viewing the movement. The strap is another pretty cool aspect of the watch, recalls the texture of the superhero’s suit – is made from black polyamide on black rubber inlay with black stitching and black Spider-Man logo.
The watch comes delivered in box made of black wood, which resembles a spider thanks to the eight spider legs fixed to the side.
Priced at 78’800EUR (approx. $86,962USD) the RJ ARRAW Spider-Man Tourbillon comes in a strictly limited edition of only 10 pieces.
