Inspired by the most beautiful car in the world, Bugatti has unveiled two special editions of its Chiron hypercar, the Chiron Noire Élégance and the Chiron Noire Sportive, that we don’t yet have images of. Both come only in black, the Chiron Noire Élégance features black exposed carbonfibre, while the Sportive has a matte-black finish. The grille of the famous Bugatti radiator has been redesigned, with a Bugatti badge made of solid silver and black enamel.
The theme extends to the interior, both models are finished with black upholstery, black controls, and headrests embroidered with the “Noire” inscriptions.
“The true form of luxury is individuality. ‘La Voiture Noire‘ is the spearhead of automotive engineering – a sculptural beauty,” says Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann.
Both are powered by the standard Chiron, the iconic 8.0-litre 16-cylinder engine with 1,103 kW/1,500 hp and 1,600 Newton metres of torque continues to serve as the power unit. Priced at €3 million (around $3.3 million USD), these limited models will be restricted to just 20 units, and will be delivered from the second quarter of 2020. Owners of the Bugatti Chiron can choose to upgrade their cars to the “Noire” specification for an additional €100,000.
