Say hello to “ICE Kite” a 64.2-metre superyacht with a sleek silhouette designed by Turkish studio Red Yacht Design in collaboration with Dykstra Naval Architects for a German entrepreneur. The sub 500 GT family-friendly global cruiser will be built on a lightweight aluminium hull with a carbon composite superstructure.
Designed to be extra fuel efficient via its Kite propulsion, the sleek luxury vessel comes with a pair of 735 KW main engines that provides a maximum speed of 17 knots (32 km/h).
“The main inspiration for the exterior design comes from mother nature. The owner wanted Red Yacht Design to create a yacht that feels like she already belongs to the sea, inspired by sea animals” – explains Red Yacht Design.
ICE Kite can accommodate up to 10 guests on board in four comfortable cabins. Other features include a beach club area with a pool, an al fresco dining area for 12 guests, helipad at the bow and more.
At this moment there’s no word on pricing available for the Ice Kite superyacht, but you can head over to Red Yacht Design’s website to learn more.
