Jacob & Co. takes the collaborative partnership with Bugatti to the next level introducing a really incredible timepiece, the Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. Inspired by the lines of the Chiron, inside is a functional miniature reproduction of the Bugatti Chiron W16-cylinder engine, placed under a massive sapphire crystal, on display for all to see.
Housed in a black titanium case measuring 44 mm wide, 54 mm long and 20 mm thick, it is powered by Jacob & Co. JCAM37 hand-wound movement beating at 21600 Alt/h with 60h of power reserve.
A push of the right-hand crown starts the animation, “the crankshaft turns and the pistons pump up and down, just like a true internal combustion engine” as Jacob & Co. puts it.
The stealth look is completed by a ventilated black rubber strap closed by a titanium deployant buckle.
The price? A cool $280,000 USD. Well.. If you can afford a Chiron, $280k for the watch shouldn’t be a problem…
