Officina Armare Design unveiled in collaboration with U-Boat Worx a new 60-foot catamaran known as project Aquanaut. Inspired by the SUV the 60-foot (18-meter) catamaran offers up everything you’d need for a true adventure in the open seas – comes with a Nemo Submarine by U-Boat Worx, and has ample storage for surfboards, watertoys, Seabobs and professional diving gear.
The open-style sport catamaran can accommodate up to 12 guests, and features a large jacuzzi with a seamless sun bathing area. Nemo can take two passengers down to depths of up to 330 feet.
Power comes from twin 800 hp Volvo engines with Volvo IPS drives, that can push it up to a top speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 35+ knots.
Priced at a cool $3 million (€2,590,500) the Aquanaut Catamaran will be built by the Turkey-based shipyard Licia Yachts. Estimated delivery time for the first unit will take 12 months to complete, after that each unit will be completed in 9 months. The first delivery will be made in 2021.
