Banksy’s Parody of Demi Moore’s Vanity Fair Cover Is Going Up For Auction

Banksy Barely LegalBanksy’s cheeky parody of Demi Moore’s iconic 1991 Vanity Fair cover is returning to the spotlight, the two-metre-tall canvas will be offered at Sotheby’s auction in London on March 25 as part of Modern Renaissance: A Cross-Category Sale.

Unveiled in 2006 as the poster image for Banksy’s debut and breakthrough U.S. exhibition, ‘Barely Legal’ is expected to fetch £3 million (approx. $4.15 million)

Sold by a private owner the canvas is going to auction for the first time, the event will be streamed globally.
