Polish-based Sunreef Yachts introduced the world’s most advanced sustainable luxury catamaran, the all-electric Sunreef 80 Eco, an autonomous craft blending ultramodern green tech and supreme levels of comfort.
Engineered and produced in-house by Sunreef Yachts, the 23.87 meters (78.3 feet) long luxury catamaran uses a special “solar skin” (these panels provide up to 32kWp), wind, and hydro-generation as its energy sources.
“The Sunreef 80 Eco is all about responsible sailing and relying on renewable energy. We are now pairing the industry’s most innovative solar power system with hydro generation. On top of that, the yacht will be able to save massive amounts of energy thanks to an air conditioning system available exclusively on Sunreef Yachts catamarans.” – shared in a press release Sunreef Yachts founder and president Fancis Lapp. The yacht’s wind-free propulsion will come from twin 180kW electric engines or the wind providing efficiency and performance.
The interior and exterior appointments are fully customizable, the eco-friendly sailing yacht can accommodate 16 guests across five staterooms and features a main saloon with seating and a formal dining area.
The pricing and other details are not yet revealed, but the Sunreef 80 Eco is expected to hit the water this summer. For more info about Sunreef 80 Eco Yacht be sure to visit Sunreef Yachts’ website.
