German tuning company Brabus unveiled a collaborative timepiece with luxury watchmaker Panerai, the Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition, at the Monaco Yacht Show. Housed in a 47 mm case made from Panerai’s Carbotech composite material, the watch was inspired by Brabus’s Shadow Black Ops series of dayboats and features Brabus’s signature gunmetal gray, black, and red colors.
“When put side by side, the similarities in regard to design language and overall character of the Panerai Submersible and the BRABUS Marine line of dayboats are obvious and striking. Both are made to be functional and stylish tools for life in the marine environment and therefore this combination just makes sense.” – BRABUS CEO, Constantin Buschmann.
The watch features Panerai’s first-ever skeletonized automatic movement, which took three years to develop. Inside is the automatic mechanical P.4001/S caliber with 31 jewels, beating at 28,800 alternations/hour and three-day of power reserve.
Priced at $46,200 the Panerai Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition is limited to just 100 examples. A must for collectors, divers and thrill seekers. The novelty comes completed by a caoutchouc grey strap with anthracite stitching. For more information be sure to visit at the Panerai’s website.
