Inspired by the Racetrack – Porsche Design is elevating its partnership with American actor Patrick Dempsey to the next level, introducing the Porsche Design Eyewear by Patrick Dempsey Edition. Although the actor has been serving as a brand ambassador for the company since 2021, this marks his inaugural collection.
As a result of this collaboration, the exceptional P’8965 sunglasses made of carbon fiber and the carbon-infused P’8754 prescription frame were created, precisely tailored to meet Patrick Dempsey’s specifications.Sporting their shared initials, PD, each model of the glasses is available in two colour variants, with each colour variant strictly limited to 1,500 items.
“I have long been fascinated by the carbon fiber components in my Porsche 991 Carrera,” Dempsey said. “They are lightweight, robust and absolutely reliable. During a race, driver and car are exposed to enormous forces. Even in the toughest conditions, the driver must be able to rely 100 percent on his material at all times, so I didn’t want to compromise on the quality of the eyewear edition either.”
The sunglasses are priced between $495 to $525, while the prescription models will be sold for $565. Any takers?
