To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Only Watch, Louis Vuitton has crafted the exclusive Tambour Einstein Automata timepiece, specially designed for the charitable occasion, Only Watch 2023. The exceptional timepiece, the Tambour Einstein Automata, is presented in a stainless steel case with dimensions of 46.8mm x 14.4mm. It shares the Tambour Automata platform with the previously introduced Louis Vuitton Tambour Automata Opera watch earlier this year.
Featuring a truly unique dial, the one-of-a-kind watch showcases an extraordinary blend of micro-sculpture and grisaille enamel techniques. It portrays the iconic image of Albert Einstein, renowned for his mischievous nature, sticking his tongue out in a playful and unexpected manner, capturing a lighthearted moment in a stunning artistic representation.
Inside is the LV 525 calibre with 426 components beating at 21,600 vibrations/hour and 100 hours of power reserve – this mechanical movement with manual winding is developed and assembled by Geneva-based La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton manufacture.
The narrative of the dial extends onto a meticulously hand-painted Louis Vuitton trunk, showcasing the exceptional watch in a prominent and revered manner.
The anticipated valuation for the watch is estimated to range between CHF 340,000 and CHF 440,000.
