Tiffany & Co., the American jeweler, and Rimowa, the German luggage brand under the ownership of LVMH, are joining forces to push the boundaries of travel to new horizons. The capsule collection presents three novel styles, meticulously fashioned from a blend of opulent materials and intricate details that pay homage to the rich heritage of both brands. The standout piece is a Cabin Suitcase, drawing inspiration from the luxury label’s Rock Cut pattern, a sophisticated design originally introduced in the 1970s that intricately replicates the facets of a diamond. Completing the design, the suitcase features handles reminiscent of Tiffany’s iconic link, crafted in a bow shape, along with a luggage tag and wheels in the signature Tiffany Blue hue, while its interior is adorned with the iconic color, showcasing Tiffany Blue straps and leather details that accentuate both brands’ logos.
The RIMOWA x Tiffany Jewelry Case, a debut addition to RIMOWA’s lineup, is intricately fashioned from the brand’s iconic aluminum material, embellished with Tiffany Blue accents, , and includes a customizable, detachable sterling silver plaque for personal engraving.
The RIMOWA x Tiffany Personal case is meticulously constructed using RIMOWA’s distinctive grooved polycarbonate material, featuring the renowned Tiffany Blue shade and complemented by leather straps for added elegance.
“We are proud to join forces with Tiffany & Co., another legendary brand with the finest craftsmanship. The creation of such purposeful and one-of-kind pieces represents the centuries of expertise behind both brands and the mastery of engineering that we bring to the table.” Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert, Chief Executive Officer at RIMOWA
With prices ranging from $2,250 USD to $4,875 USD, the RIMOWA x Tiffany & Co. collection is set to release on September 26 and will be accessible through Rimowa’s official website and chosen brick-and-mortar outlets, as well as Tiffany’s website and the Tiffany Landmark store located in NYC.
Ever since LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton acquired the luxury luggage manufacturer in 2017, it has embarked on a series of high-profile collaborations with renowned brands such as Dior, Off-White, Supreme, Fendi, Moncler, Daniel Arsham, and numerous others, generating significant buzz in the process.
